Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leveraging leadership and mentoring skills to drive improved customer care and satisfaction. Pay is based on a flat-rate model reflecting productivity and expertise.

Our technicians receive comprehensive benefits, on-the-job training, and opportunities to earn ASE certifications with company-paid test fees.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
• Skills in brakes, hydraulics, steering and suspension, and tire repair.
• General automotive maintenance knowledge and electrical systems.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs clearly to customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1-A8) within two years; fees covered.
