Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction.

Pay range $23.00 - $40.01 per hour with a $1,750 sign-on bonus for first-time hires. Flat-rate pay rewards efficiency and expertise, with pay reflecting regional market and experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests and fees paid by company.
