Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. Pay ranges from $18.54 to $31.55 per hour with a flat-rate, regionally adjusted model.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes/hydraulics or steering/suspension/alignment.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specs: brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years; tests paid by company; bonus for tests.
