Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is hiring a Senior Technician in the United States. The role requires diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, leading a team to improve customer care and satisfaction, and earning a competitive hourly wage with a flat-rate pay model.

Offer includes a $2000 sign-on bonus, ongoing paid formal training, ASE certification support, and extensive benefits. Must have a valid license and ASE credentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Brakes and hydraulics, steering & suspension experience.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years; tests and fees covered by the company; bonus for each test passed.
