HTC Global Services seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead automotive systems integration, building cloud-native apps, microservices, and APIs for vehicle configurations. You will work across software, hardware, and validation teams to translate requirements into robust software.

The role emphasizes cloud platforms, embedded automotive software, and strong engineering leadership. Hybrid work in Dearborn supports collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of software engineering for enterprise-scale systems.
• 5–7 years Java and Spring Boot experience.
• 3–5 years Node.js, TypeScript, and React experience.
• 3–5 years PostgreSQL experience.
• 3–5 years embedded software development in automotive.
• 3–5 years Google Cloud Platform or related cloud tech.
• 5–7 years designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong API design, OpenAPI, GraphQL knowledge.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures.
• Experience with automotive networks CAN, CAN FD, J1939, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical architectures and related protocols.
• Experience with cloud-native dev and Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, IaC.
• Hands-on tooling: Jenkins, Tekton, Terraform, GitHub, SonarQube, JFrog, FOSSA, 42Crunch.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native and desktop apps for vehicle configuration and integration workflows.
• Architect and implement microservices and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop reusable frameworks for vehicle feature configuration and signal management.
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, quality, and cybersecurity.
• Translate requirements into software implementations and configuration logic.
• Integrate automotive networks and telematics technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Lead architecture designs for software components and cloud-connected systems.
• Drive observability with SLOs, SLIs, dashboards, monitoring, and alerting.
• Promote CI/CD, IaC, DevSecOps, and secure SDLC practices.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction.
