Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer in the Detroit area. The role focuses on full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, APIs, and GCP, spanning the full SDLC from design to maintenance.

The position follows a hybrid schedule: four days in Dearborn office and one day remote weekly; candidates must be in the Metro Detroit area and able to commute to the office. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing full-stack applications.
• Strong development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, APIs, and GCP.
• Experience configuring and managing GCP environments and Tekton Pipelines.
• Experience implementing CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and SQL, and API development.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use cases and advocate for user-centric software.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications across the SDLC.
• Determine technology stacks and deployment strategies for new requirements.
• Create high-level designs outlining structure and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and architects.
• Implement test strategies and CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality.
