- Ensure software performance, scalability, reliability, quality, and cybersecurity requirements are met.
- Analyze vehicle feature requirements, product requirements documents, Gherkin scenarios, signal definitions, network specifications, and module interface documentation.
- Translate vehicle capabilities and engineering requirements into software implementations and configuration logic.
- Integrate automotive communication technologies, including CAN, CAN FD, J1939, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
- Collaborate with vehicle feature engineers, module owners, telematics teams, hardware teams, validation teams, and external suppliers.
- Analyze vehicle architecture changes and assess their impact on software configuration models and integration workflows.
- Develop and maintain high‑level and detailed architecture designs for software components, APIs, integration services, and cloud‑connected systems.
- Design and integrate AI‑enabled capabilities to improve configuration authoring, validation, and diagnostics.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and software architecture approaches for automotive systems.
- Lead observability initiatives using service‑level objectives (SLOs), service‑level indicators (SLIs), dashboards, monitoring, and alerting.
- Drive performance engineering, API governance, automated testing, test‑driven development, and software quality practices.
- Implement and promote CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevSecOps, and secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Evaluate technical requirements and determine appropriate architecture patterns, technology stacks, integration approaches, deployment strategies, and data models.
- Participate in system‑level design reviews and technical feasibility assessments.
- Mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and lead technical discussions across software, hardware, and systems engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
