Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks an ECG Software Design & Release Engineer to lead delivery, integration, and validation of gateway software across next-generation vehicle architectures. You will liaise with software teams, program management, and suppliers to ensure high-quality releases and successful vehicle launches.

The role requires automotive embedded systems expertise, strong project management, and collaboration skills to drive post-launch improvements and risk mitigation across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in automotive software development, integration, or design & release engineering.
• Experience with vehicle electrical architectures.
• Experience with Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers and software delivery timelines.
• Experience participating in or leading vehicle launches.
• Troubleshooting software issues in manufacturing, testing, or labs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, and networking standards.
• Experience using Jira and GitHub.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery, integration, and validation of gateway software within vehicle programs.
• Manage execution to meet project requirements, quality standards, and milestones.
• Support vehicle launches through timely software integration and validation.
• Manage software maintenance, updates, and post-launch improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Promote Agile methodologies to improve delivery efficiency.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to troubleshoot, flash, test, and validate software.
• Conduct validation on simulation platforms and test vehicles to improve quality.
• Use connected vehicle data for root-cause analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Identify and mitigate software development and integration risks.
