Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Platform Engineering Engineer to develop and maintain reusable software components that support product developers. You will design, implement, and maintain platform infrastructure, enabling developer productivity and self-service.

You will collaborate with architects and engineering teams to manage servers, networks, storage, databases, cloud services, and related technologies, while ensuring security and disaster recovery practices are integrated into the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 6+ years of IT experience.
• 4+ years of development experience.
• Experience in two coding languages or deep expertise in one language.
• Experience with Network Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and teams to design platform infrastructure across servers, networks, storage, databases, cloud services, and related technologies.
• Implement and manage infrastructure supporting platform tools, including upgrades, patches, and performance improvements.
• Evaluate cloud providers and containerization and create reusable abstractions for application teams.
• Write and execute Infrastructure as Code scripts and use CI/CD to provision and manage platforms.
• Incorporate security, logging, and disaster recovery best practices into infrastructure.
