Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years testing, with 5+ years automation and 3+ years manual testing.
• Programming/scripting in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.
• Experience with Selenium Grid/WebDriver, Protractor/Jasmine, Cucumber/Gherkin, JUnit/TestNG.
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket; relational databases; UI/UX testing; Section 508 testing.
• Agile/Scrum; Jira/HP QC/Serena; onsite in Washington, DC; DHS/FEMA background check.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts across functional, regression, API, and integration testing.
• Build and optimize automation frameworks, including Selenium Grid and cross-browser runners.
• Incorporate AI-assisted testing approaches to accelerate script generation and coverage validation.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and automated pipelines integrated into CI/CD (GitLab/GitHub, Docker).
• Support accessibility assessments (Section 508/WCAG) within automation workflows.
• Refine acceptance criteria and enable ATDD with agile teams.
• Define metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for leadership visibility.
• Manage automated test data and synthetic datasets; debug and reproduce cross-system defects.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and product owners on logic, flows, edge cases.
• Influence design and testing practices; mentor junior testers; contribute to documentation.
