Cognizant is seeking a Quality Engineer to advance AI-driven testing for our quality practice in the United States. You will design and maintain test automation using Java and Python, perform API and database testing, and own quality for features in collaboration with product managers and developers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–1 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining test automation scripts and frameworks using Java and Python.
• Basic understanding of STLC and practical experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Interest or experience testing AI-powered applications, such as chatbots or AI/ML-based systems.
• Experience with Hybrid Automation frameworks and CI/CD concepts/tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Docker.
• Passion for learning and staying up to date with AI and software testing trends.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Python.
• Perform API testing; validate endpoints using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Conduct database testing with SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
• Own quality for features; collaborate with product managers and developers on tests and sign-off.
• Track testing progress with JIRA/ADO/ALM and understand CI/CD concepts.
• Plan and execute tests for AI/ML applications, including chatbots assessment.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test script development and data generation.
• Ensure AI reliability, bias checks, and model fairness in testing.
