Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Software Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for FEMA’s enterprise grants systems. The role emphasizes reliability, accessibility, security, and performance across distributed systems, with collaboration across developers, BAs, and DevSecOps engineers.

You will lead automated testing efforts, implement ATDD practices, and ensure test data quality while supporting Section 508 compliance and CI/CD integration in a DHS/FEMA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience
• 7+ years testing experience including 5+ years automated testing and 3+ years manual testing
• Programming/scripting in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python with automated testing
• Hands-on with Selenium Grid/WebDriver, Protractor/Jasmine, Cucumber/Gherkin, JUnit/TestNG, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket
• Experience with relational databases, UI/UX testing, Section 508 accessibility testing
• Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira/HP QC

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, API, and integration testing
• Build and optimize scalable automation frameworks and cloud-ready runners
• Implement AI-assisted development and testing approaches for automation
• Develop test strategies, plans, scripts, and pipelines integrated into DevSecOps (CI/CD)
• Support accessibility assessments within automation workflows
• Define test metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and leadership reporting
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and product owners to validate logic and edge cases
• Mentor junior testers and contribute to best-practice documentation
