Job summary
Chemours is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Automation & Process Control Engineer at the Fayetteville Works site in Fayetteville, NC. This role provides expertise in automation, process controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems to support manufacturing operations and capital projects.
You will troubleshoot DCS/PLC systems, lead control-system modifications, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and project teams to improve safety, quality, uptime, and reliability
Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering with 5+ years in automation and process control.
- Experience troubleshooting DCS and PLC in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and motor-control systems.
- Understanding of industrial instrumentation (flow, pressure, temp, level, pH, conductivity).
Responsibilities
- Provide automation, electrical, instrumentation, and process-control support to manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement automation and control-system modifications for projects.
- Configure, modify, and troubleshoot DCS and PLC systems.
- Support RCFA activities and safety initiatives involving control systems.
