Job summary
The Chemours Company FC, LLC's Fayetteville Works site in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a MT Automation & Process Control Engineer to provide automation, instrumentation, and process-control expertise to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing control-system modifications, configuring DCS/PLC systems, troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and control issues, and mentoring plant personnel.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering and significant automation experience.
- At least 5 years of process automation and control engineering experience.
- Experience troubleshooting DCS and PLC in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide automation, electrical, instrumentation, and process-control support to manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement automation and control-system modifications for improvements and capital projects.
- Configure, modify, and troubleshoot DCS and PLC systems for existing and new processes.
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control-system issues affecting plant operations.
- Serve as alarm and interlock guardian for the assigned area and support RCFA activities.
- Support capital projects with technical development, equipment specs, installation, and startup.
