Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Business Applications Engineer to join a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This remote role focuses on business systems, automation, and integration initiatives that scale operations.

You will partner with stakeholders to uncover pain points, define success metrics, and deliver secure, well-scoped solutions through design, automation development, and ongoing support in a collaborative technology environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT, business systems engineering, integration, or automation engineering.
• 3+ years building and supporting production integrations or automations.
• Hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms.
• Proficient in APIs, webhooks, and REST/event-driven integration patterns.
• Experience with Jira, JSM, and Confluence or similar platforms.
• Understanding of RBAC, least-privilege access, and data privacy.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or administrators.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder discovery to define problems and success metrics
• Translate pain points into scoped problem statements and recommend solutions
• Design solutions using human-centered and secure-by-design principles
• Own solutions from design through production support
• Build and maintain automation workflows with robust error handling
• Architect and evolve the citizen development platform
• Serve as a technical escalation point and mentor for IT and AI Admins
