Job summary

Amgen seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead automation efforts across design, build, test, and deployment. You will translate business processes into specifications, drive cross-functional collaboration, and deliver scalable automations using RPA, ML, and cloud-native technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (Blue Prism, UiPath or Power Automate).
• Knowledge of intelligent automation platforms incl. ML and BPM.
• Strong full-stack development including cloud services and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Glue, Lambda, API gateway).
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins) and container tech (Docker).
• Knowledge of ML, OCR and NLP solutions.
• SQL and database concepts for building automations.
• Web/windows app development using C#/VB.Net, JS, SQL Server.

• Lead automation design, build, test, and scale of solutions.
• Translate business processes into technical designs and specs.
• Collaborate with partners to capture requirements and drive architecture.
