Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead design, build, and rapid POC automation across Operations, R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing and Finance. You will partner with process SMEs to translate requirements into automated solutions and ensure high quality outputs within regulated environments.

The role requires strong programming skills (Java, C#, VBScript, VBA), CI/CD experience, and proven ability to guide projects through CSV, validation, and Agile work cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 5 years of related experience.
• Experience automating testing and validation in regulated environments (GxP).
• Proficiency with Java, C#, VBScript, and VBA for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and develop rapid POC automated solutions and services.
• Provide technical project leadership for cross-disciplinary external projects.
• Collaborate with Process SMEs to translate requirements into automated solutions.
• Work with business partners to improve workflow, quality, and productivity.
• Document delivered solutions and support CSV in a GxP environment.
