Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to lead end-to-end design, programming, and deployment of high-volume automated manufacturing systems. You will own medium-to-large projects from 3D CAD modeling through PLC/Robotics programming to factory floor release.

You will mentor junior staff, troubleshoot to optimize yield, costs, ergonomics, and safety, leveraging 6-axis robotics and advanced vision systems in a consumer eyewear setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 7+ years in high-volume production.
• Proficient in PLC programming (Ladder Logic/Structured Text) and HMI.
• Hands-on experience with 6-axis robotics, sensors, and complex controls.
• 3D CAD modeling with SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience with YuMi, Denso, or Fanuc robots.
• Lean Six Sigma or SPC training.
• Background in the Consumer Eyewear Industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, programming, and deployment of high-volume automated systems.
• Own medium-to-large automation projects from 3D CAD through PLC/Robotics programming to factory release.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize yield, labor costs, ergonomics, and safety.
