Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to support the Global Device Engineering team. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 3 days a week and offers relocation assistance.

The position focuses on coordinating RFQs and development agreements, developing manufacturing strategies, and costing for bids. A Bachelor's in engineering or science with 3–5 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Master's Degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a technical role.
• Experience with Injection mould tooling and moulding systems is an advantage.
• Understanding of operational processes and the ability to interpret customer requirements.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities related to quotation of commercial bids and development agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across global sites to translate customer needs into outputs and costs.
• Identify deliverables, time and cost, set priorities and report progress to meet business needs.
• Coordinate preparation of commercial bids within the engineering function for new business across accounts.
• Establish relationships with equipment suppliers for product development, process development and ongoing business growth.
• Represent Global Engineering at customer meetings to ensure business needs are met.
• Ensure procedures and systems are followed in a timely manner.
