Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is growing its Greenfield facility and seeking Automation Engineers with a strong background in automation or controls to join our onsite team. The role focuses on developing new technology and supporting existing systems to improve production, quality, profitability and safety.

You will plan, schedule and execute projects, communicating status to targeted timelines and assisting with facility expansion or modifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Engineering required (or Bachelor's preferred).
• Background in medical devices/pharmaceutical would be a plus.
• Knowledge of quality systems requirements, FDA Quality System Regulation, cGMP and ISO standards.

Job Summary

West is excited to grow in Greenfield and bring new career opportunities to the area through our newest facility. We are looking to connect with Automation Engineers who have a strong background in automation or controls and want to learn more about roles expected to open as early as 2027.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing new technology and supporting existing technology to improve production, quality, profitability and safety. This individual will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, execution of projects and communicating project status to targeted timelines. This individual will also manage/assist in facility expansion/modifications.

Education

• Associate's Degree In a relevant Engineering subject required or
• Bachelor's Degree In a relevant Engineering subject preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Background in medical devices/pharmaceutical would be a plus.
• Knowledge of quality systems requirements, FDA Quality System Regulation, cGMP and relevant ISO standards

Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year
