Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or preferred in Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI development and integration into IT/OT environments.
• Familiarity with GMP/regulatory environments and validation activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of site automation systems: design, config, programming, testing, sustaining support.
• Develop and maintain PLC/HMI/SCADA apps (Rockwell/Siemens or equivalent; iFIX/Wonderware/FactoryTalk/Ignition/WinCC).
• Define automation architectures across control, safety, and industrial IT; integrate with historians, MES, BMS, CMMS, ERP.
• Design/support industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, OPC DA/UA) with IT collaboration.
• Apply digital analytics tools for asset performance and predictive maintenance insights.
• Participate in FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification, and validation in regulated (GxP) environments.
• Troubleshoot controls, software, and network issues; support RCA and corrective actions.
• Create/maintain standards and documentation (coding guidelines, diagrams, SOPs, system records).
• Support capital projects—scope, vendor coordination, technical reviews, acceptance; ensure GMP, data integrity, safety, cybersecurity.
