RTX, the Raytheon Technologies’ ROCKS team, is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to advance a cloud-native Kubernetes-based container platform. You will automate provisioning across VMware, Bare Metal, and cloud environments, develop Ansible modules, and integrate with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

This is a remote US-based role requiring security clearance. The successful candidate will have extensive Ansible experience, strong Python skills, and deep knowledge of Windows and Linux

Formación

• University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Ansible expertise with execution environments and containerized automation.
• Programming and scripting experience.
• Active Directory and Group Policy automation.
• Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS preferred).
• Windows Server administration (2019/2022).

Responsabilidades

• Infrastructure Automation & Deployment across multiple platforms using Ansible.
• Design reusable Ansible roles and collections for consistent deployment patterns.
• Write custom Ansible modules, plugins, and filters in Python.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation code.
