Job summary

The Swift Group, LLC in Sterling, VA is seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer to support a modernization program delivering automated testing across CI/CD pipelines and cloud/hybrid environments.

The role requires 10+ years in software testing with proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, PyTest, and strong scripting skills (Python/Java/JS/C#). US citizenship with TS/SCI and Polygraph is required for onsite Sterling work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software testing and QA experience.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (Python/Java/JavaScript/C#).
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Bamboo).
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, and containerized apps in cloud/hybrid environments.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites for complex systems.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and regression strategies.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Evaluate software/hardware/interfaces to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and test readiness reviews.
