Swift in Tysons, VA is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design scalable automation solutions for financial platforms. You will drive automation strategy and build robust frameworks for web, API, and backend apps, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Java, Python, or C#.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA, strong Linux troubleshooting, and hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and API testing tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress; API testing with Postman or Rest Assured.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Solid Linux troubleshooting, log analysis, and network diagnostics.
• Familiar with SDLC, Agile, and quality engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test specifications, regression suites, and release tests.
• Automate tests for web, API, and backend applications using Java, Python, or C#.
• Design robust automated test frameworks and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze results, diagnose defects, and work with teams to resolve issues.
• Provide technical documentation and support across environments (Linux).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA to refine test strategies.
