Job summary

Swift in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer to join a modernization program in Sterling, VA, supporting mission-critical software and collaborating with development teams. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and US citizenship.

You will design and maintain automated test frameworks, implement comprehensive test plans, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines across development, test, staging, and production environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
• Strong scripting ability in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bamboo).
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, and containerized apps in cloud/hybrid environments.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for complex software systems.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and regression strategies to validate functionality and QA standards.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines across development, test, staging, and production.
• Evaluate software, hardware, interfaces, and docs to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide feedback to developers and stakeholders.
