Swift in Virginia is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design scalable automation for web, API, and backend platforms, and to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality software releases.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software QA with strong automation experience, proficiency in Java/Python/C#, and hands-on work with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in software quality assurance with strong test automation.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
• Experience integrating CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps).
• Linux troubleshooting, log analysis, and network diagnostics.
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman/Rest Assured).
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable test automation solutions for web, API, and backend apps.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Automate tests using Java, Python, or C# with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams on test strategy.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot Linux environments, log files, certificates, and network issues.
• Provide technical documentation and contribute to QA process improvements.
