Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist in a hybrid role covering multiple California locations. You will investigate complex injury claims, including those with attorney representation, and collaborate with police, medical professionals, claimants, and others to determine coverage, liability, and the total value of the claim.

The position supports in-office collaboration about four days per month, with additional days optional for in-office work.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including cases with attorney representation or litigation features.
• Consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Use gathered information to determine coverage, liability and total claim value.
