Progressive in California is seeking a senior claims specialist to lead investigation of injury claims, including high-risk or attorney-represented cases. You’ll work with police, medical professionals, claimants and other parties to gather information used to assess coverage, liability and total claim value.

This hybrid role requires reporting to the office about four days a month for meetings and training, with generous coaching and opportunities for in-office work beyond that.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsabilités

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved.
• Determine coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
• Support settlement discussions and coordinate with internal teams.
