Job summary

Safelite is seeking a skilled Glass Technician to perform vehicle glass repairs and replacements at Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop locations. You will calibrate safety systems, troubleshoot, and use Safelite tools and systems while maintaining a focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

You will also drive company vehicles, communicate with customers, and promote Safelite services. The role requires a driver’s license, SafeTech certification, and full compliance with safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Safelite SafeTech certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and exceptional customer service.
• Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including trouble-shooting and completing diagnostic testing.
• Proficiently operate Safelite’s tools and technologies (True Seal, Ezi-Wire, GTS, chemicals) and Safelite’s MRM technology.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday.
• Communicate with scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone; promote and sell Safelite services.
• Performs other duties as assigned and comply with all policies.
