Job summary

Safelite is hiring an Auto Glass Technician to perform repairs, replacements, and recalibrations in both shop and mobile settings. You will leverage Safelite tools and training to complete jobs with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and service.

Responsibilities include operating advanced equipment, calibrating safety systems, and communicating with customers via multiple channels while promoting Safelite services. Career growth and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and exceptional customer service.
• Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including trouble-shouting and completing diagnostic testing.
• Proficiently operate Safelite’s tools and technologies, including: True Seal®, Ezi-Wire™, Glass Table System (GTS), chemicals (as required by the “Safelite Way of Fitting”), work order and customer administration systems, and Safelite's handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
• Communicate with scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone; present, promote and sell Safelite promotional items and services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to policies
