Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Claims Manager to lead strategy for complex bodily injury auto claims within the Last Mile Claims team. You will work with cross‑functional partners, external counsel, TPAs, and insurers to settle claims, contain costs, and develop programs for high‑exposure auto losses.

You will drive risk management initiatives, mentor teams, and report on KPIs while traveling up to 10% to support field operations. Prior risk, program, or bodily injury experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required and active adjuster license.
• 7+ years experience adjudicating complex, pre-litigation and litigated bodily injury claims.
• 5+ years experience in transportation claims management, including fleets or large auto programs.
• Knowledge of the litigation process and claims handling from inception to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Claims management of complex bodily injury and litigated claims.
• Develop strategy and action plans with counsel, TPAs and insurance companies.
• Mediation and settlement strategy with internal and external partners.
• Field and address business partners on‑going questions and issues through claims resolution.
• Report out on metrics and manage worldwide auto exposures and claims programs.
