Chubb, a world leader in insurance, is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster in the U.S. to handle property damage, damage liability, rentals, and related coverages. The role requires analyzing first reports, determining coverage, and planning investigations with timely reserves and settlements.

You will work both in-person and remotely, maintain active diaries, and collaborate with internal/external customers while supporting CAT operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Full knowledge of commercial insurance contracts, investigation techniques, legal requirements and insurance regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in-person and remotely.
• Demonstrates inquisitive mindset for investigating, evaluating and interpreting information.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities (claims, calls, emails, mail, texts).

Responsabilités

• Analyze first reports and promptly contact insured/claimants within hours.
• Evaluate contract language and identify coverage issues.
• Create an action plan for timely investigation and loss analysis.
• Maintain an active file diary to move the file toward timely resolution.
• Establish accurate reserves within required timeframes.
• Refer appropriate files for recovery when needed.
• Comply with internal, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims.
• Manage use and expenses of outside vendors.
• Evaluate claim facts and negotiate settlements.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Serve as a resource to less experienced Examiners.
• Support CAT operations, including overtime, nights, and weekends during CATs.
