AlphaStaffHCM is seeking a Senior Auto Adjuster (Non-Injury) based in Colorado Springs, CO. The role covers end-to-end auto claims, decision-making under state laws, and delivering exceptional service with proactive communication and empathy.

bonus signing of $8,000 is offered after 45 days of employment; hybrid work environment with in-office 3 days/week after 3 months, subject to leadership approval.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 2 years of experience handling auto non-injury liability claims.
• Acquire/maintain insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.
• Experience determining auto liability coverage.
• Understanding of auto claims contract, case law, and state regulations.
• Strong negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven investigatory, analytical, prioritizing, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and assess risk.

Responsibilities

• Investigates coverage, liability, and physical damage including settlements for highly complex auto claims.
• Negotiates liability for comparative negligence.
• Identifies coverage concerns and SIU referrals when appropriate.
• Collects information from police reports, statements, and witnesses to determine liability.
• Analyzes information to ensure regulatory compliance and settlement value.
• Evaluates and negotiates settlements within authority limits; manages storage charges.
• Documents thought process and rationale for decisions.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to facilitate resolution.
• Supports policyholders and claimants through digital tools to drive timely resolutions.
• Applies knowledge of P&C products and policies in claims handling.
• May serve as a resource for team members.
• Supports CAT response and on-call duties as needed.
