Gerber Collision & Glass in Amarillo, TX is seeking an Auto Body Technician with 4–5 years of collision repair experience to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles carefully while supporting our team to meet speed, quality, and customer-excellence goals.

You should be proficient with body repair methods, use of common shop tools, and able to read job orders with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Completion of tech school or apprenticeship welcomed; 4–5 years auto body repair experience often required.
• Proficient in reading job orders and working with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of body repair methods and shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Repair and replace damaged sections and glass; realign chassis as needed.
• Weld, refinish, and repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Plan repairs, prepare estimates, and ensure work meets KPIs.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
