Qualifications

• Experience operating a frame machine and knowledge of repair processes.
• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• I-CAR welding certification is required.
• Ability to analyze measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Works with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical components, and trim to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
