Job summary

Crash Champions is hiring a skilled collision repair technician to inspect damaged vehicles, plan and execute repairs, and ensure on-time completion. You will collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality results across our growing network.

The role requires frame machine experience, body repair certification (preferred), and I-CAR welding certification, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must have frame machine experience.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs and keeps on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and trim to access areas of the vehicle.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs apprentices as needed.
