Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Collaborate with team on repair status.
• Maintain on-time repair delivery.
• Decide repair vs. replace considering safety and cost.
• Access to vehicle components by removing upholstery and trim.
• Attend required safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces with tools.
• Direct apprentice when needed and explain procedures.
