Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair professional to inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and work with a team to keep on-time status. The role requires frame machine experience, body repair certification preferred, and knowledge of the vehicle repair process by manufacturer.

Welding certification and measuring data skills are a plus. The position offers a commission/flag rate structure and a broad pay range posted from $69,420 to $180,000 per year, with competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment to access vehicle.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Directs the work of an apprentice when needed.
