Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a Body Technician to inspect damaged vehicles and plan efficient repair workflows at our US locations. The role requires wiring frame machine experience and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, with a focus on safety and quality.

The position offers full-time hours with competitive pay and benefits; prior I-CAR welding certification is preferred. You will oversee apprentice work and collaborate with the team to ensure timely repairs.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• I-CAR welding certification preferred or required.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.
• Certification in body repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with team on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and components to access vehicle areas as needed.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces.
