Aldrich CPAs & Advisors LLP is seeking an Audit Manager to join our team serving Construction industry clients in California. The role involves managing audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through completion while acting as a trusted advisor. Hybrid work options are available in Carlsbad or Mission Valley.

You will lead client engagements, guide staff, and contribute to new business development, all while maintaining strong client relationships and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA exam completed or active license.
• 4+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit.
• Ability to lead and develop staff and engagement teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills.
• Experience managing client relationships and engagement teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
• Coordinate service delivery and manage all aspects of client engagements.
• Serve as a technical resource for staff and seniors on complex accounting and audit matters.
• Review engagement workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and timely, high-quality service.
• Lead, coach, and mentor staff and seniors through training, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
• Manage engagement economics, including budgets, billings, collections, and client fees.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and participate in business development.
• Contribute to process improvements and innovative approaches that enhance client and employee experience.
