Aldrich CPAs and Advisors is seeking an Audit Manager to join our team serving clients in the Construction industry. The role is based in Carlsbad or Mission Valley with hybrid options and a focus on leading audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through completion.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public accounting experience focused on audit, in a leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of audit and attest services, GAAP, and FASB standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA candidate/licensed.
• Ability to lead and develop staff and seniors; strong supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities.
• Experience managing client relationships and engagement teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
• Coordinate service delivery and manage all aspects of client engagements.
• Serve as a technical resource for staff and seniors on complex accounting matters.
• Review engagement workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service quality.
• Lead, coach, and mentor staff and seniors through training and feedback.
• Manage engagement economics including budgets, billings, and collections.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and participate in business development.
