Job summary

Aldrich CPAs and Advisors is seeking a Senior Audit Associate for our Carlsbad office to support our Construction practice. You will act as the in-charge on audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion, collaborating with clients and team members to deliver high-quality assurance services.

The position requires 3+ years of public accounting experience in audit and attest services, knowledge of GAAP and FASB, and strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience in audit and assurance
• Solid understanding of audit and attest services
• Knowledge of FASB regulations and GAAP
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with clients and team members

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-charge on audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion
• Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable conditions letters with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Build technical and analytical competence by staying up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities
• Manage work plan schedules and help anticipate client needs
• Oversee and mentor associates assigned to various engagements
• Collaborate effectively with both in-person and remote team members
• Support engagement budgets, scheduling, and fee analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement processes and team efficiency
