Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
• 5 years of experience with Android application development.
• Experience with embedded systems, or audio technologies.
• Experience designing business system solutions and partnering with product owners and engineering implementation teams to prioritize requirements and define the delivery roadmap.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ML research, technology development and Product Management teams to define the roadmap of audio features for Pixel devices.
• Implement experiences and features direct, working with codebases throughout the stack from embedded to high level OS application.
• Decompose projects into sub-components for team members to deliver.
• Design shippable solutions that fit within extremely constrained compute environments, respecting power, performance latency and user experience tradeoffs, obsessing over Pixel Audio quality.
• Demonstrate AI fluency, an expectation in this role, be prepared to discuss your knowledge and use of AI tools during the hiring process.
