Google is seeking a senior engineer to lead the architecture and development of audio platforms for Pixel devices. You will drive hardware-ready audio solutions from prototype to production, coordinating with OS teams and SoC partners to deliver robust Audio HAL implementations.

The role requires deep expertise in embedded audio systems, codecs, and system optimization, with a focus on stability, performance, and low-latency operation across Pixel hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of software development experience, including 5 years in embedded audio systems.
• Preferred candidates hold a Master's or PhD and have expertise in audio codecs and system optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of audio platforms for Pixel devices, from prototype to production hardware.
• Collaborate with OS engineers and SoC partners to implement Audio HAL and ensure system stability and debugability.
