Job summary

AMD is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to lead architecture, development, and integration of wafer-sort test infrastructure on Advantest V93000 platforms using SmarTest 8. You will influence test quality, yield, and release readiness while coordinating across product engineering, design for test, yield, and manufacturing teams.

You will bring deep hands-on experience with Advantest systems, test programs, and high-speed I/O interfaces, while mentoring peers and driving scalable, reusable

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Advantest V93000 test programs.
• Experience developing and debugging test programs for wafer-sort/test environments.
• Proficiency in Java and at least one other language (C++, Python, Perl, shell).
• Experience with test flows, patterns/vectors, timing, and manufacturing screens.
• Linux/Unix proficiency and source control practices.
• Experience with offline simulation (ORE) and test program content offline.
• Leadership or co-ownership of Base Test Program or common Test Shell infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and integrate wafer-sort Base Test Program and common Test Shell.
• Lead test program infrastructure development, debugging, validation, release readiness, and production support.
• Define scalable architecture and coding practices for reuse across products and sites.
• Lead wafer-sort test strategy, bring-up, characterization, and diagnostic activities for high-speed interfaces.
• Integrate test patterns, timings, and data collection into the common test program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close gaps and mitigate production risks.
• Mentor engineers and influence infrastructure direction across projects.
