Job summary

AMD is seeking a Test Engineer to join a results-driven team responsible for the quality, cost, and time-to-market of AMD microprocessors. You will develop and debug automated test equipment patterns, drive silicon debug, and optimize test programs across pre- and post-silicon stages.

Ideal candidates have hands-on ATE experience (Advantest V93K SMT8), strong scripting skills (Python), and a deep understanding of semiconductor test, GPU/x86 architectures, and yield improvement strategies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ATE test experience, including characterization and debug.
• Experience with post-silicon characterization and test pattern development.
• Familiarity with semiconductor test infrastructure and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative product test solutions to meet cost and quality targets.
• Complete post-silicon characterization and enable validation teams with prototypes.
• Optimize product cost structure and yields through test program improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware design and development teams to define test infrastructure.
