Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior Manager in the Omaha area to lead and supervise audit engagements, refine control environments, and advise clients on GAAP/GAAS issues. You will drive business development, maintain key client relationships, and coach staff while ensuring quality and profitability of services.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced GAAP/GAAS knowledge, and the ability to present complex issues to clients and governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics preferred.
• Master’s degree in Accountancy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of audit teams and review work papers.
• Formulate and communicate audit plans and control recommendations.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and act as primary client contact for complex issues.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and profitability of engagements.
