Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. seeks an Assurance Senior Manager to lead complex audits, advise on GAAP/GAAS and strengthen internal controls for clients.

You will manage engagement teams, supervise staff, and be the primary client contact on complex questions, contributing to practice leadership and business development. You will collaborate with the Assurance leadership team, oversee planning and execution, and ensure compliance with firm standards while delivering high-quality services to clients across

Qualifications

Seven (7) or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, required
Active licensed US CPA (or recognized international equivalent) required
Strong leadership and client development/relationship skills
Solid knowledge of SEC and PCAOB rules and standards
Ability to supervise, delegate and manage engagement profitability and budgeting

Responsibilities

Develop suggestions to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures
Advise clients on GAAP/GAAS issues and document resolutions
Manage, supervise and review audit teams and work papers
Communicate effectively with Audit Committee and management
Lead business development and client relationship activities
