Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior to lead day-to-day audit activities, supervise staff, and coordinate planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up. You will prepare financial statements with disclosures and apply GAAP, while acting as the primary client contact for routine questions.

The role requires strong knowledge of SEC/PCAOB guidelines, documentation of internal controls, and effective communication with the client and audit committee. On-site work in the US is typical.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of prior relevant audit experience.
• Prior basic supervisory experience preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exams upon starting employment and actively pursuing completion.
• Ability to prepare and review financial statements with disclosures per GAAP.
• Strong verbal and written communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit engagement activities and supervision.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and apply GAAP as needed.
• Review workpapers, test controls, and communicate findings to the client.
• Act as primary client contact for routine questions and information.
• Ensure timely completion of fieldwork and wrap-up under budget and policy.
