Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior to coordinate day-to-day in-charge duties across planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up. You will prepare financial statements with disclosures, apply GAAP, and document controls. The role includes acting as the client contact and may involve reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

The position emphasizes supervision of staff, adherence to timetables, and collaboration with engagement managers and partners to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required or CPA certification preferred.
• Master’s degree in Accountancy preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exams upon starting employment, required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit in-charge duties including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
• Supervise audit staff and review workpapers to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Communicate with clients and audit committees; plan 404 internal control audits.
• Apply GAAP, assess internal controls, and prepare financial statements with disclosures.
• Identify and communicate improvements to client internal controls and accounting procedures.
